QuietFlow LED Pro Power Filters features four filtration stages–mechanical, chemical, biological and wet / dry–for the cleanest, clearest and safest water quality. For healthier, more active fish, higher flow rates ensure a higher dissolved oxygen content. The internal pump design helps to mitigate noise, eliminates leaks and automatically starts after cleaning or power breaks. The feature is a LED filter cartridge change indicator light that flashes when the cartridge is clogged with debris, reminding us that the cartridge must be replaced. There are five total filtration stages — mechanical, chemical, biological and an additional specialty pad — for the cleanest, clearest, safest water. Stage 1–Dense floss removes particulate matter and waste. Stage 2 –Carbon activation eliminates toxins, odors and discolouration. Stage 3-Bio-Holster Patented removes toxic ammonia and nitrite. Stage 4–The diffuser grid removes additional toxins for more active fish while adding oxygen. It also reduces splashing, which makes the return unusually quiet.
